It's a great day for Scouting! And an even better weekend for camping!!! Weather forecast is for 50's with a slight chance of showers. Perfect Scouting weather. There is no such thing as bad weather, just unprepared for the current weather! So remember, layers and a raincoat! And if you have a large tarp, I recommend you bring it as you can drape it over the metal tent frames giving you one more layer between you sleeping and possible rain. We will meet at Mt. View this Friday at 5 pm to assemble and depart. We will return to Davis Elementary around noonish on Sunday. We can't gather at Mt. View as they will have Sunday services. Reminders: 1. We need auto insurance for anyone driving. Form attached. 2. Medical forms. Those that didn't complete them for SkyZone, be sure to complete and bring with you. Attached. 3. Map to Woodruff and of Woodruff attached. 4. Permission form. I recommend pringint a bunch of blanks and leaving them in your car as this is usually forgotten and filled out in the parking lot before we take off. 5. Right now the cost looks like it will be $20 per person. Looking forward to a great weekend!!! |
